* Gameplay
Once you start a game, you will begin to operate your new company with a small cruise ship. After you create a new cruise route and set up the sailing schedule, your ship starts to be operated. As your company is grown, you can buy new ships, employ a new captain. Also you must listen to the needs of employees.
To open new routes, you should build up a new hub on other port. To earn more profit, you can discover a new shore excursion on your port of calls.
As the ship operated, you must proceed the service training of employees, and the periodic ship maintenance. You can adjust the level of food on board to increase the customer satisfaction, and also you can do advertising and promotion to get more guests.

Good game bad advertisement for each sh and promos should be easier to toggle or it is a real hell when you have 50 boats /:
CruiseTycoon is based on the time management and strategy concept of Hotel Tycoon.
I was extremely skeptical when Cruise Tycoon first came out, but after the last update, it seems so much better!!
I like the automatic scheduler, I like the fact that if I pay 99c for the extra ships and ports that it carries over to new games I start.
Kinda wish the advertisement had an auto scheduler too. Its a bit repetitive.
Overall, I like this game and would now recommend it!!

I tiny error when the captian says random stuff when you view the ship it says the ship is "crowded with lots of guest".
already a great game BUT a) the excursions take way to long to discover b) its easy to buy all 4 star ships and make itineraries with all ports spending 2$ to download the game and 2$ to get more ports and boats is way too much and c) you dont have enough control over your cruise line (designing the boat better, all the extra stuff)
So much fun for the whole family! This game combines a easy interface with smooth in game animations. This game is a great way to teach our young ones about the world of business!
This app is so much fun. And serious kudos to the producers as they made this game so that you do not have to spend money to enjoy it:) thank you!!
Some bad moments
Its not a bad game, it just isnt a great one either. If you like Hoteltycoon then you might like this game. If you like Airtycoon, warning! This is not like Airtycoon beyond "tycoon" in the title. I had high hopes this would be a very strategic game with the ability to get into the cruising industry much like Airtycoon but more so. Here are a few of the areas I feel let down in:
1) Slooooooooow!
2) designing the cabins, ohhhh, which colour? Yep thats it. Nothing more. Yawnnnnn
3) no designing the interior of the ship. Not even on a percentage basis. No classes of rooms or on board activities either.
4) a happy face you keep having to hit all the time? Really?
5) much like the above (things you have to do over and over and over and over - get the picture) you have to keep scheduling the ships. Buoy (lol), totally not exciting.
6) discovering things in port. Nice concept but delivery was flat. Whats my percentage of the excursion? Can I sell on board? So much is missing here.
I was really excited about this game coming out as my Apple products are in such need for strategic games, ones where the game lasts more than 10 min and you arent shooting anything.
Guess Im going to have to go back to
Airtycoon and be happy to have that!

You charge 1.99 and then start to charge for more ships and cities, not impressed. Also, it take to long to get anywhere with your company. If your going to charge .99 for extra money, it shouldnt just be for one game. Air Tycoon 2 was good and this isnt even close.
Very solid start but considering you are selling add ons(which I cant even purchase ) I think game price should be lower

Its an okay game but they need to take out the in app purchases or add more free ships and destinations.
I can agree some of these people here... I loved airtycoon but to have to buy some of the ships and more port well... I got to the high level ships( 4 star) quickly through the use of loans. It was then that I noticed that you have to buy the better ships(5 and 6 star). For the 2 dollars I payed to get the app, another 2 dollars for 50 extra ports and 8 luxury ships? Does the make sence? I am not going to buy these in app purchases because I do not think it is worth it.
When I touch the app it doesnt open.
It crashes everytime.
This is ridiculous.
